NOV. 27TH- Help with holiday decorating in Stetson Hall, after 2nd Service. 

DEC. 11TH- Ladies Christmas Tea- Annual Tea, hosted by Pam Jacobson- Stetson Hall from 3pm-6pm- Bring a small plate of goodies and a wrapped ornament to exchange.  (Adults only please).

DEC. 18TH- Children’s Singing Sunday morning (both services)- Our kids will prepare a Christmas song to sing during each service on this special Sunday celebration.

We have a fun and fruitful summer planned at Coastside with many opportunities for fellowship and worship together!  If you are willing to help plan any of these events, we would love to hear from you!

Hearing and Doing- James 1:19-27

This strikes me as a pretty tame title for a pretty in-your-face piece of scripture.  As I studied James this week, it rocked me.  These few verses are a marvelously balanced and apportioned presentation of a big truth that will rock our world as we really get hold of it.

Starting in March, Pastor Dave will begin a series on the Book of James.  The first weeks will include a full background as we start this journey together.  Then, week by week, he will preach, verse by verse, and bring insight on how it relates to us. 

We regret that we will not be sponsoring the Fall Festival this year.  After much consideration and prayer, our church leadership team decided that it was not within the scope of what we could and should take on at this time.  We are sorry for those of you who were anticipating this activity, and we hope and pray you will find other alternatives with your family and friends.
