Lead Pastor- Rev. Troy D. Jacobson

Pam and I began serving the people of Coastside Church in 2003 and enjoy serving together, with our children, Caleb & Emily, in as many ways as creativity allows.

As the Lead Pastor of Coastside Church, I take seriously the privilege of  preaching the Word of God with passion, accuracy, & relevance. I love to see Followers of Jesus express themselves in honest and vulnerable worship before God. And it's my passion to help believers discover and 'put to use' the gifts that God has given them for service in His Kingdom.

I was Licensed with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in 1996 and Ordained in 2002. I received a B.A. in Ministerial Studies from Simpson University and an M.Div. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, I was a Youth Pastor in Redding, CA. for 7 years, I helped restart a church in San Jose, CA., and I was an Associate Pastor for Worship Arts & Emerging Ministries (at Coastside) for 8 years.

Our family loves to bicycle, camp, explore, hike with our dog, raise chickens, and 'hit the beach' together. I really enjoy drinking strong coffee, reading, biking, playing guitar, eating Egg 'Sam-iches' for breakfast, and motorbiking.

  Office Manager- Cara Behrens

Cara joined the C3 staff in 2007 as Office Adminstrator and now as Office Manager. She also helps out in the Childrens Ministries and serves on the Worship Team as keyboardist and vocalist. Cara has a passion for worshiping the Lord through music and strives to encourage others to 'make a joyful noise unto the Lord!'. She is a native San Franciscan who moved to Pacifica in 1997 and hasn't looked back! Cara was married to Tom for 19 wonderful years and God has blessed her with two incredible kids, Josh and Elizabeth.
